This is how the downtown looks from USC campus. The building lighted up in the foreground is the Shrine Auditorium, site of many famous events including the Oscars(across the street from USC !).
Hoover Street, the road from downtown McCarthy Park(remember the bubbling pool in Volcano: the coast is toast?) to USC Campus, ends on Trousdale Parkway, the main street of campus.

I have been around a lot in US and have beautiful pictures to show you, but sadly they are currently only in my albums as I do not have the time to scan them.
